Richard Yezzi (56') for his all-around accomplishments as an Edinboro athlete during the early 1950s. Lettered four-years in football, three in track and two in basketball. A two-way starter on the football squad, Yezzi was team captain during the 1955 season. Edinboro’s first Sox Harrison Award winner. In 1980, he retired after 24 years of active service as a full Colonel in the United States Marine Corps.
