A two-time Division II Bulletin honorable mention All-American and earned 2017-18 preseason Division II Bulletin honorable mention All-American accolades … enters his senior season ranked fifth in career scoring with 1,532 points, along with ranking ninth in career assists (315) … has 401 career free throws made, needing two to break Bryan Theriot's career record of 402 free throws … ranks sixth in free throws attempted (474) and has made 84.6 percent from the line, which ranks third … is fourth in career 3-pointers made (167) and seventh in 3-pointers attempted (427) … has averaged 20-or-more  ppg. the last two seasons, the first Fighting Scot to do so in consecutive years since his father, Tyrone Mason, did it 1994-95 and 1995-96 … in 79 career games, has scored in double figures in 71, while leading the team in scoring 35 times and topping the 20-point mark 32 times.

Was an honorable mention Division II Bulletin All-American for the second straight season after second in the PSAC and 11th in Division II in scoring at 23.0 ppg, the sixth-highest single-season average at Edinboro … one of only two players to start all 26 minutes while playing in an ironman role … averaged 38.2 minutes per game, which led the PSAC and was seventh in Division II … played all 40 minutes the last 15 games of the season … scored 598 points, which is tied for fourth in a season … averaged 4.7 rpg., and led the team with 122 rebounds … in addition, led the Fighting Scots in assists with 144 while committing just 68 turnovers, and was first in steals with 42 … ranked fifth in the conference in assists per game and 25th nationally … shot 43.8 percent from the floor (198-of-452), with 72 3-pointers in 178 attempts (40.4 pct.), and shot 82.3 percent from the line (130-of-158) … ranked sixth in the PSAC in 3-point field goal percentage and 3-pointers made per game, and was also fifth in free throws made, attempted, and in free throw percentage … his 130 free throws made ranks fourth in a season, the 72 3-pointers made is ninth, and the 178 attempts ranks 12th … led Edinboro in scoring 17 times, scoring in double figures in 25 of 28 games, and was the top rebounder on five occasions … scored 20-or-more points 15 times, including nine games with 30-or-more points, and one 40-point effort … had a pair of double-doubles, with 31 points and 10 rebounds at Lake Erie (11/16/16), and 16 points and 10 boards at Millersville (11/19/16) … scored a career-high 40 points at Pitt-Johnstown (2/4/17), part of a stretch with 30-or-more points in four of five games … made 16-of-26 field goals, including 4-of-9 3-pointers, and was 4-of-5 at the line vs. the Mountain Cats … had 37 points at Notre Dame (Oh.) (12/7/16), making 14-of-23 field goals, 5-of-8 three’s, and 4-of-4 free throws, and 36 at Clarion (1/18/17) … had nine games with four-or-more 3-pointers … had season-high nine assists vs. Seton Hill (2/8/17), and had five steals on two occasions.

Earned Division II Bulletin honorable mention All-American honors, along with first team NABC All-Atlantic Region accolades and first team All-PSAC West honors … was named the Division II Bulletin Player of the Month for the month of January … joined teammate Henri Wade-Chatman to become the first teammates to each average 20.0 ppg… averaged a team-leading 20.8 ppg., ranking second in the PSAC and 46th in Division II … average was the tenth-highest ever at Edinboro, and his 542 points ranked 11th in a season at Edinboro … had twelve 20-point games, leading the team in scoring in 11 contests and reaching double figures 23 times … that included four 30-point games, which are the most for a Fighting Scot in a season since Tyrone Mason, Jaymon's father and Edinboro’s all-time leading scorer, accomplished the feat 11 times in 1995-96 … had three double-doubles … finished second on the team in rebounding (6.0 rpg.), while adding a team-high 87 assists with 27 steals, second on the team … shot 45.8 percent from the floor (170-of-371), including 38.9 percent on 3-pointers (49-of-126), while ranking fourth in the PSAC in free throw percentage at 85.0 percent (153-of-180) … broke the school season free throws made record with 153 … that total ranked second in the PSAC and 38th in Division II … also finished sixth all-time with 180 free throw attempts … was second in the PSAC in minutes per game (37.0) … scored a season-high 39 points against Kutztown (11/21/15), making 11 of 22 field goals, 3 of 8 3-pointers, and going a perfect 14-for-14 at the line … scored 36 points at Seton Hill (1/24/16) and 35 vs. Gannon (12/16/15) … played 48 of a possible 50 minutes against Gannon, making 9 of 19 field, 3 of 9 3-pointers, and 14 of 15 free throws, while adding 7 assists … had his fourth 30-point game at Pitt-Johnstown (2/10/16) with 34 points while matching career-high with 12 rebounds … made 13 of 19 shots vs. the Mountain Cats … also had 12 rebounds vs. Bloomsburg (1/6/16).
 
2014-15     
Was named the PSAC West Freshman of the Year after starting all 27 games and averaging 14.5 ppg. and 4.4 rpg… was named the PSAC West Freshman of the Week six times … ranked second on the team and 13th in the PSAC in scoring, and was third in the conference and 32nd in NCAA Division II in free throw percentage at 86.8 percent … that figure ranks fifth in a season at Edinboro … made 118 of 144 free throws, the 20th-most free throws made in a season … that included a stretch of 24 in a row … he added a team-high 84 assists and was third on the team with 22 steals … shot 39.9 percent from the floor (114 of 286) and was 46 of 123 on 3-pointers, ranking second on the team in 3-pointers made and attempted … scored in double-figures in 23 games, including five 20-point scoring efforts, and paced the team in scoring seven times … that was highlighted by a season-high 25-point showing in a win over Millersville (12/17/14), making 8 of 9 field goals, 2 of 4 shots from downtown, and a perfect 7-for7 from the charity stripe … tallied 24 markers in the Fighting Scots' upset victory over No. 16 Indiana(Pa.) (2/14/15), adding a season-high 9 rebounds and handing out 6 assists while not committing a turnover … had a career-high 9 assists in a win over Pitt-Johnstown (2/25/15).

Prolific high school scorer at nearby General McLane High School, and a two-time all-state performer … played for head coach Andy Schulz … ranks as the fifth all-time leading scorer for the Lancers with 1,467 points … earned second team Associated Press Class AAA All-State accolades as a junior and senior … was also named the Region 6 and District 10 Player of the Year as a senior and was the Region 7 Player of the Year as a junior, while earning all-district and all-region honors both years … as a senior scored 752 points, an average of 26.9 ppg., the top figure in District 10 … led General McLane to a 22-6 record and the District 10 Class AAA championship, reaching the PIAA Class AAA quarterfinals before losing to Montour … made 54 percent of his 2-point field goals and 35 percent of his 3-point attempts, with 61 3-pointers in all … went 247 of 289 at the free throw line (85.5 pct.) … in addition, he averaged 5.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game … scored 40-or-more points twice, including a school-record 43 points against McDowell  and 42 vs. Strong Vincent … scored in double figures in all 28 games … as a junior, scored 498 points, an average of 18.4 ppg., good for fifth in District 10 while leading the Lancers to a 26-1 record and the District 10 Class AAA championship … reached the PIAA quarterfinals before once again losing to Montour … was an all-region selection after scoring 209 points as a General McLane went 20-6 in 2011-12 … also played football for two years.
