EDINBORO, Pa. (Oct. 18, 2013) – The Read to Compete Program wrapped up for the fall with members of the women's soccer team visiting Edinboro Elementary School. Team members Alex Brown, Allie Thompson, Madeline Barnes, Brittany Shipley, and Rebecca Arotin read to the kindergarten classes. They encouraged the young students to read for fun every day. In addition, the students and their families were invited to attend Saturday's match against Mercyhurst. The contest gets underway at 1:00 p.m. at Sox Harrison Stadium.

The winter sports programs will start making visits to Edinboro Elementary School as part of the Read to Compete Program later this year.
