Cook, a 1998 graduate of Edinboro and a Fighting Scot wrestling alumnus, has spent the last 21 years at the helm of General McLane wrestling.
In his time at the head of the Lancers, Cook has complied a 255-100 dual meet record. Under his tutelage, the Lancers had 48 District X champions, 52 state qualifiers, 12 PIAA place winners and two state finalists.
He holds the all-time General McLane records for coaching wins, win percentage, PIAA qualifiers, PIAA medalists, regional and district champions.
Cook has been an advocate for women's wrestling. He established the girls' wrestling team at both the high school and junior high levels at General McLane.
Cook was a member of the Team Pennsylvania Women's National Team that competed at the 2025 USA Wrestling Junior and 16U National Championships.
