Williams joined the Edinboro Athletic staff as the Associate Athletic Director in June of 2020.
In his tenure with the Fighting Scots, Williams has served as the compliance officer overseeing the compliance efforts for all 20 Edinboro athletic programs. In addition to his compliance duties, Williams manages bus transportation for all Fighting Scots teams. He also coordinates the athletic banquets including Hall of Fame, Scholar-Athlete, 12th Man and Scottie Awards. Williams also oversees home contest scheduling.
During the 2023-24 school year, Williams spent for months as the Interim Director of Athletics. He also has served as the sport administrator for football, men's basketball and softball.
Prior to joining the Edinboro staff, he served as the Director of Compliance at Abilene Christian University. During his time with the Wildcats of Abilene Christian, he was responsible for 17 varsity programs eligibility and certification reporting for the university to the school’s conference representatives.
Prior to his days in Abilene, Texas, he worked in compliance at Arkansas State University and at his undergraduate alma mater Liberty University. Williams completed his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Liberty in 2016 and in August of 2020, he added a Master of Education in Higher Education from Abilene Christian.
One of Williams highlights of his young athletic administration career to date was working with the men’s basketball team at Abilene Christian for the 2018-19 season. This was a year in which the Wildcats won the Southland Conference tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
The Cross Lanes, West Virginia native and Cross Lanes Christian School graduate briefly enjoyed time as a collegiate athlete at Lancaster Bible College where he played second-base for the Chargers baseball program in 2014.
