Day One Results

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Feb. 14, 2013) – The Edinboro men's swimming team opened up the PSAC Swimming Championships at Cumberland Valley High School with an All-PSAC performance in the 200-yard medley relay.  The Fighting Scots are in fourth place out of seven teams after two events with 47 points. 

West Chester holds down first place with 104 points, with Indiana(Pa.) second with 57 points.  Gannon is third with 53 points.

The foursome of Tony Romanini, Jared Malecki, Darren Suroviec and Ryan Sestak finished with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 1:33.38, trailing only West Chester who posted a time of 1:31.09.

In addition, Joshua Beabout turned in a strong showing in the 1,000-yard freestyle, placing sixth with a time of 9:41.69.

Action continues on Friday at Cumberland Valley High School.
